Introduction
The goal of assessment in this training is to help learners assess how much knowledge they have absorbed from the training and how well they can translate that knowledge into skills.
There are several different activities available to learners during this training, so different types of assessment methods are used. The objectives chart uses a visual format to show the correlation between the assessment methods and the learning objectives.

Knowledge Checks
Learners will complete knowledge checks to assess their understanding of direct quotations, paraphrases, citation style, and formatting. The knowledge checks will be automatically graded after all five questions are completed. Learners will be shown each question marked as correct/incorrect and will read feedback that explains why the correct answer is correct.
A failing grade will require the learner to review the lesson on the topic. Data about pass/fail will be collected and reported to the allied health team manager.
The following is an example of the assessment and feedback a learner would receive for a knowledge check. In this activity, the learner is directed to click on the sentence that contains a direct quotation and therefore requires quotation marks and a citation.

Production Activity
The final production activity will allow learners to put their new knowledge and skills into action. They will create a properly formatted reference page that will be assessed using the following rubric that is provided to students at the beginning of the activity.
The allied health team manager will assess each activity and collect data on scores.
Learners assessed with an overall score of "progressing" will have the option to review the lessons and complete the activity again. Learners assessed with an overall score of "emerging" will be required to review the lessons and complete the activity again until earning a score of "progressing."
