Overview
The goal of "absorb activities" is to present learners with information in an engaging way that enhances their retention. Lessons in this training module are designed to help learners absorb information related to editing using the AMA Manual of Style. In this absorb activity, learners will watch a Prezi presentation that defines direct quotation, paraphrase, plagiarism, and citation and shows examples of direct quotations and paraphrases in a sample text.
Audio narration and automatic play will be available for learners who prefer multimedia learning. Learners also have the option to mute audio and instead read a transcript. They may also click through the slides at their own pace.
Learners may print a reference guide for the topic by clicking a link embedded in the presentation.
