Objectives
Problem Identification
Education Bridge, Inc. in Dallas, TX, needs to cross-train curriculum writers from four different content teams to use the AMA Style Manual to copy edit allied health products. In addition, new employees hired to work on allied health products will also need to receive training on this style manual.
Delivery Method
The training module will be available entirely online, with scores and progress reported directly to the learner and the allied health team manager. Learners may progress through the module at a self-directed pace. The module will be utilized at various times throughout the fiscal year, as training and hiring needs change. Each lesson will provide learners with a Prezi presentation on the topic, and then learners will complete activities in which they will use the skills they have learned.
Alignment Chart
The alignment chart is a map that connects each objective to its associated activities and assessments. This chart is helpful in showing how the smaller (or enabling) objectives work together to build learners up to accomplish the two main (or terminal) objectives. The activities are classified as absorb (learners take in information), do (learners act based on what they have learned), and connect (learners create unique products to demonstrate their learning).
